Senior Dog Care

Depending on your dog’s breed, they will become a “senior” at a certain age. Senior dogs have greater needs than adult dogs.

We can help you keep your special senior happy and healthy for longer.

Nutrition

Make sure your dog is on a good quality scientifically balanced dog food. Ensure their weight is well maintained and monitor their food and water intake. Make sure to let your vet team know if you notice any significant changes in your pets eating and/or drinking habits.

Health

Regular and frequent vet health checks are vital to ensure your aging dog is happy and health. Early detection of illness can positively impact treatment outcomes. Pain assessment and regular dental checks are also important and will also help your senior pet lead a full life in their later years.
